Dr. Mark Nicaud received his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Medicine degrees from Louisiana State University. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Florida in Gainesville and a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Louisiana State University in New Orleans and is board certified in both fields. He is a current member of American College of Gastroenterology and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Nicaud is currently a resident of St. Tammany Parish. He is an active staff member of St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Lakeview Regional Medical Center, Slidell Memorial Hospital, and Ochsner-Northshore Hospital. He maintains active membership in the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Nicaud enjoys all aspects of gastroenterology and is passionate about patient care.

Dr.Mark has great bedside manner and you don’t find that much these days! I think I’m gonna like this place everyone was professional,kind and very helpful . So far so good!

The staff here are really friendly and eager to assist. Everyone seems happy. Dr. Nicaud is a good listener and informative. They try to move at a comfortable , yet efficient pace, although they are really booked up. I have to go back in two weeks for an Upper GI scope. I’m nervous about being sedated, but I am confident I will be in good hands.
My experience with Dr Nicaud and his staff was fantastic. Everyone in this practice that I had contact with could not have been kinder. My procedure was stress free and they even checked up on me after I returned home. Great experience.
