01 DR. ANTHONY F. ALBRIGHTt

Dr. Anthony Albright received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. His residency in internal medicine, as well as his fellowship in Gastroenterology, was completed at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans. Dr. Albright obtained his Board Certification in Gastroenterology in 1991. Dr. Albright is currently a resident of St Tammany Parish. He maintains active membership in The American College of Gastroenterology, The American Society of Gastroenterologists, The American Gastroenterological Association, and Louisiana State Medical Society. A partner of Gastroenterology Group, AMC, he has practiced in the Slidell office since 1991. Dr. Albright is an active staff member of Slidell Memorial Hospital, Ochsner-Northshore, St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Lakeview Regional Medical Center, and Highland Park Hospital.
02 DR. TIMOTHY J. TRAINOR

Dr. Timothy Trainor received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of New Orleans. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University Medical Sciences Center in New Orleans. His residency in internal medicine as well as his fellowship in Gastroenterology was completed at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans. Dr Trainor obtained his Board Certification in Gastroenterology in 1991. Dr. Trainor is currently a resident of St Tammany Parish. He maintains active membership in The American College of Gastroenterology, The American Society of Gastroenterologists, The American Gastroenterological Association, and Louisiana State Medical Society. A partner of Gastroenterology Group, AMC, he has practiced in the Slidell office since 1991. Dr Trainor is an active staff member of Slidell Memorial Hospital, Ochsner-Northshore, St. Tammany Parish Hospital, and Lakeview Regional Medical Center. Dr. Trainor has been a leader in the local medical community, having served as President of the St. Tammany Parish Medical Society and Chief of Staff at Ochsner-Northshore Hospital.
03 DR. FELIX G. RABITO JR.

Dr. Felix G Rabito Jr. received his undergraduate degree in biology from Tulane University in New Orleans. Dr Rabito graduated with research honors in biology and finished his publication theses in freshwater biology in 1985. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University Medical Sciences Center in New Orleans. Upon graduation, he performed his residency at the University of Texas Health and Science Center, where he was awarded Chief Resident of Internal Medicine. He finished his fellowship in GI and Hepatology at the University of Texas. Dr. Rabito obtained his board certification in gastroenterology in 1997 and was recertified in 2007. Dr. Rabito is currently a resident of St Tammany Parish. He maintains active membership in The American College of Gastroenterology, The American Society of Gastroenterologists, The American Gastroenterological Association, and Louisiana State Medical Society. A partner of Gastroenterology Group, AMC, he has practiced in the Covington area since 1995 and has been with Gastroenterology Group since 1999. Dr. Rabito is an active staff member of St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Lakeview Regional Medical Center, Slidell Memorial Hospital, and Ochsner-Northshore.
04 DR. VERONICA T. DUGAN

Dr. Veronica Dugan received her undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in chemistry at Loyola University in New Orleans. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University Medical Sciences Center in New Orleans. Upon graduation, she continued to reside in New Orleans where she completed her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship training at the LSU Medical Sciences Center. Dr. Dugan is board certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and hepatology. Dr. Dugan is currently a resident of St. Tammany Parish. She maintains active membership in The American College of Gastroenterology, The American Society of Gastroenterologists, The American Gastroenterological Association, and Louisiana State Medical Society. A partner of Gastroenterology Group, AMC, she has practiced in the Slidell office since July, 2006. Dr. Dugan is an active staff member of Slidell Memorial Hospital, Ochsner-Northshore, St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Lakeview Regional Medical Center.
05 DR. L. PHILLIPS JENKINS

Dr. L Phillips Jenkins received his undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Upon graduation, he completed his residency training in internal medicine at the University Mississippi Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Louisiana State University Medical Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Jenkins is board certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology and hepatology. Dr. Jenkins is currently a resident of St. Tammany Parish. He maintains active membership in The Louisiana State Medical Society, Louisiana Gastroenterology Society, The American College of Gastroenterology, The American Gastroenterology Association, and The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Jenkins joined the Gastroenterology Group, AMC in July of 2012. Dr. Jenkins is an active staff member of St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Lakeview Regional Medical Center, Slidell Memorial Hospital, and Ochsner-Northshore Hospital. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Jenkins enjoys traveling, reading, the outdoors, and spending time with his wife and three daughters.
06 DR. MARK J. NICAUD

Dr. Mark Nicaud received his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Medicine degrees from Louisiana State University. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Florida in Gainesville and a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Louisiana State University in New Orleans and is board certified in both fields. He is a current member of American College of Gastroenterology and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Nicaud is currently a resident of St. Tammany Parish. He is an active staff member of St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Lakeview Regional Medical Center, Slidell Memorial Hospital, and Ochsner-Northshore Hospital. He maintains active membership in the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Nicaud enjoys all aspects of gastroenterology and is passionate about patient care.
07 DR. NATHANIEL R. RANNEY

Dr. Nathan R. Ranney received a bachelor’s of science degree in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University-Baton Rouse and his Doctorate of Medicine from Louisiana State University-New Orleans. After graduation from medical school, he completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in Birmingham, Alabama. He received his board certification in Internal Medicine in 2012. He completed fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, South Carolina. In addition, he received advanced endoscopic training and is proficient in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR), mucosal ablation, and the treatment of Barrett’s esophagus. He received his board certification in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2015. Dr. Ranney is currently a resident of St. Tammany Parish. He is an active staff member of St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Lakeview Regional Medical Center, Slidell Memorial Hospital, and Ochsner-Northshore Hospital. He maintains active membership in the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Ranney enjoys caring for and treating a wide variety of illnesses and diseases related to the gastrointestinal tract. He has taken particular interest in caring for patients with cancer of the GI tract. Through the help of the St Tammany Parish Hospital Cancer Center, he has founded a GI tumor board conference. This is a forum that allows a team of doctors to meet regularly and discuss cancer care of patients in a prospective manner to provide the most up to date and individualized care possible.
08 DR. EDWARD W. DAUTERIVE III

Dr. Edward Weeks Dauterive III received his undergraduate degree in marine biology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Upon graduation, he completed his residency training in internal medicine at the Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge at Earl K. Long and Our Lady of the Lake Hospitals. He completed his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Baylor – Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas where he also received additional training in advanced biliary endoscopy (Endoscopic Ultrasound and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography). Dr. Dauterive is board certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology and hepatology. Dr. Dauterive is currently a resident of St. Tammany Parish. He maintains active membership in The Louisiana State Medical Society, Louisiana Gastroenterology Society, The American College of Gastroenterology, The American Gastroenterology Association, and The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Dauterive joined the Gastroenterology Group, AMC in January of 2017. Dr. Dauterive is an active staff member of St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Lakeview Regional Medical Center, Slidell Memorial Hospital, Ochsner-Northshore Hospital and Highland Hospital in Picayune, Ms. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Dauterive enjoys traveling, hunting, fishing, boating, and spending time with his wife and three children.
09 DR. BRANDON BROUSSE

Dr. Brandon Brousse received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana. Upon graduation, he completed his residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center as well. Dr. Brousse is board certified in gastroenterology and he maintains active membership in The American College of Gastroenterology, The American Gastroenterology Association, and The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
In his free time, Dr. Brousse enjoys traveling, fishing and hiking. He is recently married, and enjoys spending time with his wife and their pets.
10 Shelley Maillho, N.P.

Shelley Maillho is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner and part of our Gastroenterology and Hepatology healthcare team here at GastroGroup. Shelley began her career in 2008 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she received her undergraduate in Nursing from Our Lady of the Lake College. In 2014, Shelley became the Director of Nursing for our EndoCenter in both Covington and Slidell, Louisiana. After starting with the EndoCenter, she soon realized her passion in Gastroenterology and decided to pursue her Masters of Science in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University where she graduated in 2020. Shelley brings over 12 years of professional nursing experience and patient care to the GastroGroup. Her experience includes emergency medicine, endoscopy/gastroenterology, home health and long-term care. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, American College of Gastroenterology and Gastroenterology and Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers. Shelley has privileges at St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Lakeview Hospital and Slidell Memorial Hospital.
When not practicing, Shelley enjoys spending time with her family and two big fur babies.
